The Sauna is part of Villa Ilo but stands alone on a separate piece of flat land near the tip of the headland where it is constantly exposed to strong winds and when viewed from the sea it merges into the landscape. The three areas: sauna, dressing room and washroom are separated by glass partitions with privacy created through steam and condensation on the glass divisions. The lack of opaque walls means that the space feels like one large, simple space rather than a series of small rooms.
